Virus attacks can pose real problems to those who have adopted the use of technology. Be it individuals or corporate, viruses interfere with the use of computers to get work done. It can slow down work progress or even crash the system completely, thereby hindering any progress. (Cummings & Haag, 2013), while addressing the problem of computer viruses argue “that denial of service attack floods a server with so many requests for service that it slows down or crashes.

The slowing down of work progress or even crashing of the system portends not only a monetary problem but also an integrity one. Many a time clients will complain about delays. It is therefore advisable for users to be careful when using networks, the internet and external storage devices to guard themselves against virus attack. It is also advisable to purchase and install powerful antivirus software to guard one from attacks from computer viruses and its effects on the work.
