Learning Outcomes
This learning session presented an opportunity to perform a review of a dissertation to identify inefficiencies in a personal piece of work and the adjustments necessary from the gaps in the discourse. An overview of recommendations by other researchers is critical in ensuring that a study incorporates what is desirable of other scholars and ensure progress in the field of study. Many insights were gained on group and team dynamics and related aspects together with the options available for behavioral performance management (Luthans, 2011). The different theories and perspectives on organizational dynamics and everyday practices present different views getting support or criticism by some scholars as standard practices in organizations. The knowledge gained within the week has affected my thought process by instilling in me concepts necessary for improving my dissertation and ensure that it is suitable for its purpose and the advancement of knowledge in its study area. I have developed ability to consider necessary aspects in preparing dissertation that meets the academic threshold.
I will use the knowledge I acquired during session to progress my study in best practices and performance management and in conducting the appropriate analysis to support the findings and the knowledge developed. In personal life, I consider myself to have achieved much to the academic level I am pursuing and able to contribute as per my distinction. I can transfer the knowledge I have to other people articulately expressing applicability and relevance and the progress to achieve a conclusive dissertation. The learning process was smooth with no challenge whatsoever, with an easy grasp of concepts and principles of the session. The book to study in the learning process was available, and the discussion with peers bore fruit in helping to make a comparison of approaches. The learning during the session was efficient, organized in a better way to ensure students full participation.
