Learning Outcome

Leadership has a critical role to play within organizations to ensure best approaches and practices that promote performance and competitiveness within their units (Curtis & Manning, 2015). The session’s presentation was on team concepts, effective leadership and human relations within organizations. Different forms of leadership influence groups led differently, with good leadership inspiring followers and getting the best out of them. Organizations around the globe have since transformed into team units on realization of the effectiveness of coordinated team efforts against individual efforts. 

The focus of the session was also on reviewing articles relevant to the area of study and giving a comparison and connection with the modern organization and applicability of the concepts. According to Curtis & Manning (2015), a leader must carefully use qualities within them to move masses and motivate people to support their vision and efforts that would see an organization excel. Team dynamics promote the progress of companies and leaders must commit to coordinate teams to achieve what group desires. The knowledge I gained during the week has given me understanding on issues relevant to teamwork and human relations and the role of leadership in promoting aspects within organizations.

I can confidently inform on the importance of organization adopting team concepts and dynamics and the role of leadership in ensuring it is achievable. As a lecturer, I can articulately guide the students in their mission to understand the concepts of leadership and mentor them to embrace team dynamics in their daily lives and their future endeavors. There was a great success, and minimal challenges in the manner of course presentation and during discussions, and the materials for use in the session (Curtis & Manning, 2015) were available.
