Learning Outcomes

Company processes are essential for getting things done by transforming input into an output that creates value for the organization (Chase, & Jacobs, 2014). There has to be capacity in terms of information and time measurable to define the effectiveness of a company, which consists of the processes and systems in place. The study during the session was on system design and analysis that explored the steps and categories of system design within an organization and their analysis. The study on quality Sigma gave an understanding of the process of improving quality and total quality management in line with global standards. I learned the measurement of system variation and analysis of class using statistics.

The knowledge during the course was productive in the essential aspects of supply chain management systems, quality measurement and management affecting my thought process by instilling in me the knowledge of supply chain systems and quality. I will use the knowledge I acquired to offer insight on expanding the scope of quality management and measurement and systems design. In my personal life, I fully have the understanding of system design and analysis using statistics and the measurement of variation and can adequately relate the concepts (Chase, & Jacobs, 2014).

I can confidently pass the knowledge to students explaining the contents of the study explicitly and relating system design approaches and quality management within a company. The learning process was smooth with no significant challenge. I experienced easy grasp of concepts and principles of the session. The book to support the learning process was available, and discussion with peers bore fruit in helping to understand contents of the course (Chase, & Jacobs, 2014). Learning during the session was highly active, with proper organization to ensure that the students participated fully whenever possible.
