Learning Outcome
The Learning Objective that I found most interesting was the part of knowing my responsibilities during, and the dissertation process. Having the perfect understanding of the responsibilities and the process as a whole made my work easier as I was able to put every requirement into consideration. I was able to maintain the standards throughout the process. The significant learning achievements I take away with me is that I can perfectly undertake the dissertation process to perfection. In the final process, I am able to identify relevant publishers for my work who will not fail my process.
The "ah" moments where I suddenly were able to grasp a concept was when I had the knowledge of choosing a publisher. Initially, I strained myself to find a publisher who will do my work without prior information of the process. I am now therefore able to choose a publisher, not just who will accept my work, but also have time to publish it.
As a lecturer, I will apply this knowledge in class context when handling my students and taking them through the research process. I am able to undertake more scholarly research articles for publication that will see other audiences access my own piece of work. The new knowledge will advance my career, as I will be able to undertake more appointments on research or thesis with students whenever made by the faculty, in full knowledge.
This course is highly effective for my personal and career development. There are no key areas that I would suggest be modified in the course, but with time any such observations made can be taken into consideration to fit with the new regulations and trends. The pace of the course was also appropriate to meet your time constraints. If it was so fast, then it gave me the right pace to undertake the dissertation process with laxity, and if it was too slow, then it gave me time to take every detail necessary. Overall, the course objectives were fully met.
