Literature Review of Ten Sources

From a wide coverage of literature review in at least 10 sources, I have gained much knowledge, which I shall apply in my academic and professional life (Grant, Morris & Wooding, 2011). In my career as a lecturer, before I decide on investing a new strategy or program in my work, I shall need to ensure it is worth investing and that it will add value in my service to students. I shall be in a better place to analyze the cost-benefits of such program and the value I would generate from such investment (Bell, Chalkley, Howe, Randall, 2013).

In the modern difficult economy it is paramount I consider the cost effectiveness initiatives, which include knowledge management programs. I believe I have gained much potential from the literature of researchers who studied on knowledge management despite there being a gap that am trying to fill (Kemp, 2012). I aspire to head a learning institution and therefore I need a clear understanding of knowledge management, as I shall be investing in initiatives many times. I feel I have benefited in three main categories. These include knowledge benefit as an individual, intermediate benefit where my colleagues will also benefit through interaction in the work activities. This is important as it entails team effort. Finally, the skills I have gained will trickle down to benefiting the entire organization where I lecture (Glaser, 2010).

I believe with this information, I shall provide quality education and programs for a better society. Regardless of the institution I shall deliver my teaching services, I shall be faced with the challenge of creating innovative knowledge to remain competitive as an individual and put the organization at a competitive advantage. This will enable me to meet the continuously evolving needs of my students (Kahneman, 2011).
