The Holy Spirit is God. Even though I knew about God when I was a youth, I really
didn't know who God was until I accepted His son Jesus as my Lord and savior first
by confessing Him and then starting a relationship with Him by studying His word.
Through the years during my trials and tribulations and even when I turned away from
Him, He was always there to make a way for me to see things through. Philippians
4:13 states " I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." I wouldn't
have made it this far without Him. Through the Power of the Holy Spirit, I was able
to answer the calling to minister to others. When preparing a message to deliver to
God's people, The Holy Spirit takes over and provides the words that the people need
to hear. According to Billy Graham he states: " He is all-powerful: "And the angel
answered and said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the Power of the
Most High will overshadow you, and for that reason the holy offspring shall be
called the Son of God" (Luke 1:35). When I pray, whether or not it is for myself or
others, God intercedes and touches my heart to uplift the best prayer needed for the
situation at hand. According to the text it says, He intercedes:'And in the same way
the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but
the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words" (Rom 8:26).
