The Social Policies
People have different schools of thought on various issues in the society, and I am not an exception to the multiple views that presents the difference in policies and solutions to societal issues. Our assumptions more often than not depend on the society we exist in and the aspects surrounding our lives, which handle different experiences and assumptions affecting policies and decisions for the communities. It is only sincere if we agree to the fact that the world economies and standards of living are growing at a continuing rate with solutions offered to potential crises that derails the progress.
Even as we advance and our economies keep expanding, with the living standards rising, we need to think heavily about environmental safety and the reduction in pollution since it is unreasonable to expect better living standards in a polluted environment. Taking on the pessimist assumption of the expanding society, I feel that it is only noble that as we enjoy the higher living standards, we also need to offer solutions to the environmental issue (Henslin, 2014). With the expanded technology and the continuous innovations, there is need to exploit avenues to control the exhaustion of nature and its resources as we offer options.
Irrespective of our differences, we should take responsibility to ensure pollution control in our environment through mutually workable agreements among parties. Coming up with resources that support our needs and developing alternatives to control the exploitation of natural resources will offer solutions and ensure that the resources do not run out (Henslin, 2014). Providing green industrial processes taking into consideration the control of environmental pollution will help us contain pollution even as industrialization progresses. It would be insincere to say that people can give up better life to contain the environmental crisis, but reaching long lasting workable agreements and offering best alternatives is the way to go.
