Charismatic Authority
At different instances, we come across people, or may know of persons who move the masses or are popular with others and can get along with all types of people. In my view, being charismatic is a character that conferred in a person or charm and attraction that inspires others in a person. However having charisma may just be enough or might not just be enough depending on a person and how such person display and carry about self. Charisma can be twinned with personality, as people mostly get attracted to a person’s personality other than appearance; it will also depend on the sense of such an individual in expression to others that would determine how an individual would compel to others.
A charismatic person must pay careful attention to people in the interaction and as such must be positive and appealing to others. I think that it is difficult to be appealing to people whom you cannot show compassion to or give focused attention. Being charismatic, I should be able to use my skills to get people to my side from every point of view with discretion. In such sense, the leadership qualities are built and stronger in a charismatic person. Secondly, a charismatic person must show confidence in varied situations and must be able to communicate and help others feel confident too enhancing the communication link.
Thirdly, being assertive is another train that I feel a charismatic person must have. It is essential that as a charismatic person, one must be able to influence, encourage and motivate people in a manner that benefit all, or that will not hurt others. Such a person must build trust in others without exploitation or extortion. I feel that a charismatic person can persuade and encourage others through words and optimism and must have an understanding of people’s emotions with a focused attention to their needs and not on individual gains.
