Learning Outcome
The course covered exciting areas extensively around international financial management adding entirely new concepts to students (Eun & Resnick, 2015). Studying the international monetary systems, foreign exchange, stock markets and currency exposures gave an overlook on the current events in the international economic scene and the best interventions to respond to respective situations. Asia and the Euro zone in particular reports currency crises that may reflect on their economic performance. For any person who is interested in international finance, this was the right course to understand the technicalities involved in the international scene.
I developed clear understanding of globalization issues and the aspects of the stock market structure, economic exposures and international finance. I noted the distinct features of domestic and international finance and handling relating issues (Eun & Resnick, 2015). The characteristics of the international financial system and the operation of companies across boundaries present chances for their success or failure. The manner of handling exposures would determine the directions a business will take, its successes or failures. The knowledge I have gained during the week has given me understanding on issues relating to international financial management relating to international companies operation.
I can confidently contribute to the strategies of a corporation to sail in the global environment and ultimately transact in stock and financial markets. I can apply the lessons learnt to inform transactions in international platform bearing in mind the possibilities and direct the financial operations of a multinational firm (Eun & Resnick, 2015). Being a lecturer, I can articulately guide the students in their mission to understand the concepts and issues relating to the study area. There were no challenges in the course of learning, and there was a great success in the manner of the course presentation and in any discussions to that.
