The course objective I find most interesting is:
Propose how human resources practices can and should contribute to business goals and help to improve the quality and effectiveness of the company’s product or services.
The reason I find this objective interesting is that human resource practices should be geared towards achieving the goals of the company to make it achieve its mandate, that is, that of providing quality goods or services. Such a proposition will help the business realize the importance of the human resource.
- Significant learning achievement
The significant learning achievement I have taken is how to handle employees. I understand employees are the most important assets of a company for improved productivity
- The “ah” moments
There were “ah” moments, especially when dealing with the topic on labor unions. Handling them was a tremendous achievement for me.
- Application of the knowledge in personal, professional and academic life
I will implement a task force to look into the welfare of my employees and teach those after me to devise effective ways of dealing with employees.
- The new knowledge will definitely help me advance my career. I will be more productive at the work place as a lecturer.
