Several organizational performance management tools came up to aid the groups in managing their performances, ensure best practices and identify inefficiencies. The performance tools have integration with the organizations with standard practice as a derivative (Hassan, & O'Boyle, 2013). Human resource practices of an organization have handled the organizational performance management and influences employee commitment and perception of organizational performance. Groups work towards their employee commitment and positive attitude of performance management, and embracing best practices to propel performance (Farndale, Hope-Hailey, & Kelliher, 2011).

Performance management is the manner in which a group engages the people and the process to ensure effectiveness as the paper will elaborate.
In conclusion, the materials available currently provide sufficient knowledge though with gaps in relating best practices and performance management directly. The study, therefore, requires more review of the literature to describe the actual concepts and set proper objectives and study questions to guide the research process.
