CHAPTER 11 AND 12
SEE VIDEOS BELOW:
Interview a child or adolescent in the elementary, middle and high school to
determine what he/she knows and does not understand about his/her own metacognitive
processes. Ask each child the following questions-
• “What is thinking?” “What is learning?” “What do you do when you need to remember
something?” “What things do you do in your head when you’re trying to study for a
test?” In your summary, describe the child you interviewed, the questions you asked
and the answers you received and the conclusions you can draw about the child’s
metacognitive development.
